LUDINGTON – The ATB Undaunted/Pere Marquette 41 returned to its homeport of Ludington on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025 to unload road aggregate at the Rieth-Riley Construction dock along Pere Marquette Lake. The articulated tug/barge is operated by Interlake Logistics Solutions. The barge is the former City of Midland 41 carferry while the tugboat was built during World War II for the U.S. Navy. After departing Ludington in the early evening, the vessel was heading to the Michigan Limestone and Chemical Company’s Calcite Quarry near Rogers City.
